Crim™ Collective founded in 2006 by Senior Lecturer Paul Heys is a University based group of designers and illustrators leading national and international projects. The collective has a focus on pedagogy; in particular developing an academic and industry integrated experience, highlighting innovative learning techniques in an attempt to challenge the way art and design related subjects are taught. It offers a series of non-assessable workshop experiences and together with noted industry-lead practitioners, including: Jeffrey Bowman, Mr Bowlegs; Illustrator Andy J Miller; Barrie Inman; Designer and UK Retail Coordinator, Converse UK; Recent graduate and YCN award winner Luisa Biolchi and Robert Loeber; Web, Graphic Designer, Urban Outfitters UK, Europe and founder of contemporary indie and youth culture magazine-blog, Sticks & Stones. Together aiding a greater understanding of individual application and heightening the enjoyment of the students’ collective practice.
To date the Crim™ are an internationally acclaimed collective producing work for galleries, bars, fashion boutiques and film. It also supports international educational programmes celebrating and memorializing? the enjoyment for drawing and all that is art and design.
Crim • Presents 
The experimental drawing platform “Crim Presents” is a two meter high by six meter long panel running alongside the North facing wall of the Communication Design (BA HONS) studio's situated on level 2 of the Creative Arts Building at University of Huddersfield, UK.
The Wall is a dedicated area where students and invited guests can produce a semi-permanent piece of work with a strong emphasis on drawing. Projects take place in studio hours providing students and staff with applied practice in real-time. Crim Presents promotes an inspiring, ever-changing, site-specific backdrop encouraging a vibrant studio culture and live project work.
Crim • Expo 
Crim Exposition is a platform presenting work, events and achievements outside of the collectives remit. Highlighting industry related projects from members past and present, self initiated projects, News and reviews.
Crim • Resource 
Crim Resource is an internal, interactive research and reference facility maintained by all Crim members. Available to all Crim Resource also works in conjunction with Crim TV on Vimeo offering an accessible, ongoing narrative into the world of drawing related topics and beyond.

Crim TV on Vimeo acts as a repository for all videos relating to Crim. Using Vimeo also allows us to share content, stimulate dialogue and debate and all whilst making new friends along the way. In addition Crim TV’s objective is to create an ongoing external research facility for students and fans of drawing worldwide.
